DOCUMENTATION FOR XTAC SERVER 2.1.2
This small documentation is only intended to cover general questions about how does XTAC Server work.
If you want more informations please feel free to post questions on Tactical Coders Forums.
There are three buttons in the menu bar.
This area is used to setup the server. Remember that TCP port 80 (HTTP) and the port you provide must be opened in you firewall and correctly routed to your machine.
Red button is used to start the server. It becomes green when the server is started. If you want to stop the server you will have to click on 'Quit' button in menu bar.
Web Tools are brand new features introduced in XTAC Server v2.1.1. You should have a look at Web Tools section in your member area for more information (free account required). To summerize, Web Tools offers different ways to show IP, Port and server status anywhere in your website. XTAC Server v2.1.2 lets your server publish the list of current users and display it on your website.
Users list shows connected people. As 'Server administrator' you can disconnect a user: select a user then click on 'Kill' button.
This zone displays informations about each socket (opened, closed, waiting for connection...).
This textfield shows all messages sent in XTAC Server's chat. You can send a message to all users as 'Server administrator'.
IMPORTANT: Remember that a user needs a free account on tacticalcoders.com to successfully connect to your server.
